South Beach Dental

do01For That Bubbly Fresh Feeling

For Dr. Markus Watson's new dental offices near AT&T Park in San Francisco, we wanted to create a refreshingly clean yet inviting space which would put his patients at ease. Dr. Watson was familiar with our Warm Modern in Noe Valley project and wondered if we could translate that aesthetic to a dental clinic. For the reception area we created a feature wall of dimensional gypsum wall panels lit from above to highlight the textural "Big Dot" pattern. We used zebra wood laminate for the cabinets to create warmth and visual interest and Pure White CaesarStone countertops for a clean crisp feeling. Moving past reception, we clad the guest bath in natural walnut to extend the natural theme while changing the scale, color and texture. Inside the bathroom, the crisp white floor and wall tiles contrast with the rich iridescent blue tones of the Italian glass mosaic tiles chosen for the accent wall. In the operatories our custom design for the cabinets and countertops banish "boring" while keeping with the theme of serenity. Cocoa accent walls and subtle blue-gray textured carpet tiles complete the palette.
